Citrus limon

Lemon Tree

The primary subject is identified as a Lemon tree based on the presence of its characteristic fruit. The two prominent yellow fruits are oval-shaped with a bumpy rind and a distinct apical papilla (nipple), which are classic morphological features of lemons. The surrounding green, lanceolate leaves and woody branches are also consistent with the appearance of *Citrus limon*.

The lemon is a species of small evergreen tree in the Citrus genus of the flowering plant family Rutaceae. A true lemon is a hybrid of the citron and the bitter orange.
